After working with some of the best chefs in Ireland and spending 5 years as Head Chef in Avoca, Andrew decided to branch off into the world of event catering.
Andrew’s first venture, and one which he still holds close to his heart, is The Hogfather, a brand that prides itself on quality, no-fuss hog roasts and although this provides the perfect wedding banquet, his vision expanded to provide dining options for all events, and so Andrew Holmes Catering was born.
Andrew and Tracy set up The Hogfather in 2012 after meeting at work in Avoca in 2010 where Andrew was Head Chef of their Ashford restaurant and Tracy was manager of their Kilmacanogue, Monkstown and Belfast food halls.
They married in 2017 in one of their favourite venues, Trudder Lodge, and live in Greystones, Co.Wicklow with their three sons Harry, Theo & Freddie.
